RAW Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Bars w/ greens

I make nut “milk ” every week and so I am always trying to find a use for the nut ‘mush’ left over from the “milking”. It goes into muffins, brownies, shakes, cookies and cereal…. and yesterdays creamy mush of cashews and coconut are a perfect combination for these wholesome chewy bars.

You will need a food processor and a dehydrator. But you could bake these on your ovens lowest setting for an hour or so if you had to.

Ingredients: Combine in Food Processor

1 c. packed prunes
4 Tbsp. Brown Rice Syrup or agave or local honey.
2 small very ripe bananas
1/4 c. Peanut butter

Process until combined, then add:


1 c (about). nut mush from making nut milk
4 Tbsp Ground Chia seeds or Flax or Hemp
1/2 c. Fair Trade Cocoa
Optional: 3 Tbsp. Raw Greens Powder (this is going to dramatically effect the taste, so understand that:)
Optional: Chocolate chips
With damp hands scoop and pat into patties. Arrange then in your dehydrator. Dehydrate at 105-135 F for several hours on until desired consistency.

Chewy nutritiousness!

      I’m pleased that you stopped by too:) You should try to make your own nut milk, nothing compares. The cocoa is optional:)
